We hereby call on Governor Pat Quinn to stop his job-killing 33% income tax increase.

In the middle of a recession with nearly 11.4% unemployment, Illinois Governor candidate Bill Brady has a plan to create jobs, not create taxes.

We, therefore, hereby formally request that Mr. Quinn promptly disavow any plans to engage in harmful, wasteful government spending and abstain from turning to Illinois taxpayers for more of their hard-earned money.

The State Board of Elections declared Brady the winner of the Republican gubernatorial primary, and Sen. Kirk Dillard officially conceded. Brady thanked and congratulated his primary opponents and the supporters who backed him in a closely contested primary. Sen. Brady now turns his attention to the campaign ahead.
